The know-how
passion
Without passion, believe us, we don't stay 8 hours a day with our hands in an engine. And it takes a lot of passion.
That's good, at R.T.MS you will be with mechanics at least as passionate as you. Here, no quick or chain repairs. Every vehicle that enters at R.T.MS is carefully studied then maintained, revised, prepared until its restitution. It is rewarding to see you drive out the repair shop with a happy smile.

Metrology
We control the quality, stability and dimensional and physical specifications of the mechanical parts. We draw up a metrological assessment for its repair or optimization.
Yes...it's pretty weird.
Repair
Each engine component is checked and then changed, repaired or machined; if necessary.
The cylinder head (valve, sealing...), crankshaft (dimension, geometry...), surfacing, balancing...
The list is non-exhaustive.
Custom-made
Sometimes the parts we seek are difficult to come by.
It is possible, for some of these parts, to manufacture them within the workshop. We manufacture them using the manufacturer's references and dimensions.
(turning, milling, machining).
RESTAURATION
A restart of a vehicle that has been forgotten for too long. R.T.MS will give it back its youthful freshness. In other words; a restoration includes a large part of the services offered by RTMS.
Transport
Unable to drive to the workshop? We offer transportation service. Call us and we come with a flatbed trailer, wherever you are, and we bring your vehicle back to our workshop for a diagnosis. We will call you back within 24 hours to decide together what to do next.

But who are we
Really ?
Roméo Thiodet
My father hears tapping in the garage. He walks in and sees me with a hammer in my hand banging on a motorcycle he was building. "What are you doing, buddy?! - I do mechanics Dad" . I was 3 years old.
I help out my father on many restorations and at 14 years old I refit my first motorcycle, a 1976 Honda TL50 and at 18 I completely restore from scratch a 1980 Austin Mini.
To beself-taught is good, but I had to move higher and I quickly obtain my CAP Mécanique, then I integrate the prestigious School of Performance where mechanics takes on a whole new dimension. I then worked in motorsport and traveled the world until exhaustion... The desire to open my own workshop is appealing. I meet Clement in
Aix en Provence, obviously very animated by
mechanics. It's a match. He already has a small workshop to receive vehicles. It all starts from there.

With an offshore diver father, I was naturally drawn into mechanics and the art of welding. I started very young on solex and mopeds until I set myself challenges like creating prototypes of motorised scooters with chainsaw engines.
During my adolescence, I repaired my motorcycles, those of my brothers, those of friends... When I turned 18, I passed a Technical Baccalaureate (STI) then a BTS in Automotive Mechanics. I then worked in a company specialising in motorsport.
Following in the footsteps of my father, I am also very interested in the world of offshore. I became a RIGGER on different offshore installations, then maintenance supervisor for IMODCO/SBM where I still work today.
Between 2 offshore missions, I keep myself busy by opening a small workshop at home but I quickly had the desire to make something bigger and more professional. That's when I meet Roméo Thiodet who shares the same passions and values for the job.
